The Administration Department, under the direction of the City Administrator, manages the functions of all other City departments and oversee the implementation of the City Council's policies and decisions. In addition to coordinating Council and Commission activities. Administration is also responsible for human resource activities, labor relations, elections, communications, recycling, community development, finances, and general government administration.
The Administration consists of five employees:
- Kevin Walsh, City Administrator
- Melody Santana-Marty, Finance Director
- Amy Truhlar, City Clerk
- Tara Klegin-Laska, Administrative Assistant
- Melissa Boettcher, Accounting Technician
Some of the city functions are handled by companies/persons specialized in their field:
- City Attorney, GDO Law
- City Engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc
- Washington County Assessor's Office is responsible for property valuation and tax assessment.
