Senior Water Rate Discount
The city offers residents who are 65 years of age or older to receive a reduced water rate of 50%. To qualify the owner and head of household must be 65 years of age or older and use less than 8,000 gallons per quarter. A resident must file annually between October 1 and November 1 by filling out the Reduced Senior Water Rate Application and sending it to City Hall (600 Portland Avenue). This discounted rate does not apply to rental property or multiple family dwellings.
