Primary Elections

The state primary is held on the second Tuesday in August in each even-numbered year.

2022 Primary will be held on August 9.

General Elections

General Elections are held the first Tuesday, following the first Monday in November.

2023 General Election is held on November 7th.

Municipal Elections

Local elections are held the first Tuesday, following the first Monday in November in odd numbered years.

 The City of St Paul Park has two City Council seats and one Mayor seat available both are 4- year terms.

If you are interested in a seat for the Council or Mayor the filing begins August 1 and runs through August 15, 2023. Office Hours are 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. M-Thurs. and 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Friday.

There is a small fee of $5.to file.

Canvass of Votes

The Canvassing Board must declare the results within three to ten days after a municipal election.

Precinct Boundary Changes & Map

Every ten years election boundaries are redrawn to ensure that the people of each district are equally represented, this process is known as "Redistricting".  Check out the precinct boundary changes for 2022.
