Streets : Road Restrictions

Effective: March 15, 2020 at 12:01 AM for city roads

Expires: May 8, 2020 at 12:01 AM for city roads

(The season load limits will be in effect for 8 weeks, unless extraordinary conditions require extending them)

No permits issued

During the spring weight restrictions, the City of St. Paul Park does not issue permits or exemptions for overweight transport, except for school buses and a serious public health emergency.

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead for moving or construction projects. If construction projects are intended to happen during this time, contractors will need to lighten their loads to comply with weight restrictions. Violators of the weight restriction will be fined.

Spring weight limit restrictions

Axle weight limits are restricted on certain streets with the City of St. Paul Park to protect these streets from damage when road and weather conditions warrant. The City of St. Paul Park follows the seasonal load limits that are established by the State of Minnesota.
