Odd/Even watering in effect year round
To encourage conservation and prevent excessive use of water, the St. Paul Park City Council has adopted a lawn and watering policy that features an odd/even watering schedule.
The odd/even schedule is in effect year-round. Automatic sprinkling systems must be set to comply with the odd/even schedule.
Lawn of properties having an address ending with an odd number, may be watered only on odd numbered days and lawn of properties having an address ending with an even number, may be watered only on even numbered days.
NOTE: If you have newly sodded or seeded yard, you must contact City Hall at 651-459-9785 to request permission to water outside of city code. Fill out an unconditional watering request form and email it to city@stpaulpark.org or mail it to 600 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park, MN 55071. You will receive a letter of permission to water for a 30-day period.Enforcement of Watering Policy
Failure to comply with the City of St. Paul Park watering policy is a violation of City Code. The policy is enforced year-round by Public Works maintenance crews and by the Police Department who issue citations when they observe violations while conducting their daily activities.
