Adopt-A-Park

The Adopt-A-Park program is a public service program that encourages volunteers to assist the City in keeping our parks beautiful and trash free.  With your help we can showcase our parks to residents and visitors.

Commitment:

Volunteers are asked to make a monthly commitment for one year.  A dedication plaque will be posted at the park in honor of your commitment.

Duties:

  • View play equipment for damages or graffiti
  • Keep our parks looking beautiful and trash free
  • Report clean up date and any damages to Public Works Department

Supplies:

Trash bags, gloves, and trash sticks can be obtained by calling Public Works (651-459-3730) during normal business hours at least 3 days prior to clean up day.

Reporting:

Send an email to Jeff.Dion@stpaulpark.org to log your clean up date and any findings.

Making a Difference:

You too can make a difference by adopting a park.  Download the Adopt-a-Park brochure and return the commitment card to City Hall, 600 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park MN 55071.

Adopt-A-Park Kickoff Event

Those wishing to adopt a park are invited to attend the annual kickoff event held the second Thursday in February at 7 p.m. in the Marlyn DeForth Community Room.
