The City has adopted two policies relating to Data Practices Requests

Data Practices Policy for Data Subjects

The Government Data Practices Act (Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13) says that data subjects have certain rights related to government entity collecting, creating, and keeping government data about them. You are the subject of data when you can be identified from the data. This policy outlines the procedures for access to the data about you.

Data Practices Policy for Members of the Public

Members of the public have the right to access government data pursuant to the Government Data Practices Act (Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13). This policy outlines the procedures for access to public data.
