Don't get scammed

The St. Paul Park Police Department would like residents to be aware of some common scams aimed at seniors:
  • Grandparents scam
  • Fake check scam
  • Lotteries scam
  • "You have won" scam
  • Medicare scam

Prevention is the most effective way to attack this problem.  How to avoid scams:
  • Never send money or give bank or personal information to someone you don't know.
  • Never send money to receive a prize
  • Never cash a check or money order for someone you don't know.
