Community Cats
Cat overpopulation and stray and feral cats remain issues in many communities. For many years, the solution was to bring the cat to an animal shelter. This practice didn't eliminate the nuisance or reduced the population numbers. When cats were removed from an area the cats naturally compensated for the population loss through increased breeding or other cats moved into the area to fill the resource gap.
