Growing Together Community Garden
The Growing Together Community Garden is a city-owned plot of land that is managed and maintained by the Parks & Recreation Commission. The community garden was established in 2013.
The community garden consist of twelve (12) raised beds and one (1) communal garden.
Those interested in renting a raised bed should contact City Hall for an application. The 15' x 30' communal garden is managed by the Parks & Recreation Commission and the crops harvested from this garden are donated to the local food shelf.

The Community Garden is located behind the Fire Station, 600 Portland Avenue
Parking:
Gardeners should park in the west parking lot (City Hall) keeping the south parking lot accessible for emergency personnel.
Directions:
From Highway 61 going South
- Exit onto Summit Avenue overpass (70th Street) take a right at the top of the ramp onto Summit Avenue
- At the stop sign--take a left on Broadway Avenue
- Take a right on Portland Avenue
- Park in the City Hall Parking Lot
- The Community Garden is located behind the Fire Station.
