Heritage Park
This park is a wonderful place for all age groups. Heritage Park has everything to amuse many. It has ballfields, tennis courts, horse shoe pits, a badminton court, sand volleyball, half court basketball and seasonal football.
In addition to all that, there is a building that can be rented for meetings or gatherings, a large pavilion with electrical service, bathrooms, drinking fountain with jug filler, benches, picnic area and grills. It has a wonderful playground for children. This is a multi use facility that is handicapped accessible.
Heritage Park is geared for a full day of fun.
Directions:
From Highway 61 going South
- Exit onto Summit Avenue overpass (70th Street) take a right at the top of the ramp onto Summit Avenue.
- At the stop sign--go straight on Summit Avenue.
- Follow green "Heritage Park" signs
- Take a left onto 13th Avenue
- The park is on your right.
- Laurel Avenue will lead you into the parking lot.
