Ice Rinks & Warming House

The City of St. Paul Park has two ice skating rinks.  One for Hockey and the other for pleasure.  Both rinks are located at Whitbred Park. They will be open the end of December through the end of February, weather permitting. Come and warm yourself inside the warming house.

Ice Rink Warming House "2023" Hours for January & February: 

Mondays CLOSED, EXCEPT Monday January 16, OPEN 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Tuesday - Friday 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday 1 pm. - 8 p.m.

Monday, February 20, CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.


Cold Weather Policy

The warming house will be closed when it is in the best interest and safety of the community.  Situations where we may closed the warming house include:

  • Warm temps have softened the ice
  • Air temp is -10°F or colder
  • Wind chill is -20ºF or colder
  • Heavy snowfall has not yet been cleared



Warming House and Rink Rules

In order to provide a pleasant and safe environment  for everyone, we ask that you follow a few simple rules. 

  • No alcoholic beverages
  • No smoking inside the building
  • No profane language
  • Hockey sticks & hockey pucks used on hockey rink only
  • No puck shooting allowed inside or around the building.
  • No horse play inside building.
