Fire Department

The St. Paul Park Fire Department (SPPFD) is responsible for responding to all fire and life safety issues within and around St. Paul Park and provide support to Newport FD, Cottage Grove FD, Grey Cloud Island Township, Northern Tier Energy and other surrounding departments in and around Washington County. The SPPFD is also responsible for public safety education and fire prevention programs.  The department is staffed by  about thirty paid-on call firefighters under the direction of a Fire Chief. 

All members have received basic firefighter training and continue their training weekly with in-house classes.  Specialized training in the areas of hazardous materials and emergency medical response is also provided.  Members are certified as Firefighter I, Firefighter II, First Responder, and Haz-Mat Operations. 

The current leadership/officers of the St. Paul Park Fire Department Officers are:
