Gas Installers (Mechanical)
All persons engaged in the business of altering, repairing, or servicing of gas burning equipment must obtain a license to do so.
Each applicant for a license must show that he is competent by reason of education, special training and experience, and that he is equipped to perform the work for which a license is requested in accordance with all state laws and city ordinances. Also the applicant must provide proof of public liability and property damage insurance policies with at least the minimum amounts prescribed in City Code Section 22-181.
