Alarm Systems (excludes Residential)
A license is required for each alarm user who operates an alarm system in the City. A license is not needed for alarms affixed to automobiles or owner-installed alarms when used in a private residence.

Reporting Requirements
- Notify City Hall with changes to contact/key holder information.
- Application due annually
False Alarm User Fees:
Any user of an alarm system which reports more than three false alarms to the City in a calendar year will be charged the following user fees:
- $50 per false alarm in excess of three false alarms in a calendar year;
- $150 per false alarm in excess of ten false alarms in a calendar year;
- $200 per false alarm in excess of 15 false alarms in a calendar year.
The false alarm user fee shall apply to the owner of owner-installed alarms in a private residence.
