Adventures in Bird Watching
Riverside Park is a haven for birds and bird watchers alike. Due to its geographic location and abundance of park space along the river, Riverside Park is a great place for bird watchers. In May 2015 a probable nesting pair of Prothonotary Warbler was reported. This bird is believed to have nested somewhere along the river at Riverside Park during the spring and summer season in 2015.
We are thrilled to display a sign at the entrance of the park identifying some of the birds that can be found at Riverside Park. Take a stroll through Riverside Park and see how many birds you can spot.
