How to Register to Vote
Before you can vote, you must register. There are three ways to register:
1. Register online
Residents may register to vote on-line through the Secretary of State webpage. Click here for the Secretary of State webpage.
2. Register by mail
Residents may register to vote by completing a Voter Registration Application and submitting it by mail or in-person to the City of St. Paul Park or Washington County Elections Division at least 20 days before an election.

3. Election Day Registration
Residents can also register at their poling place on election day with authorized proof of residence. To register on Election Day, bring the following with your current name and address to verify your residence in the precinct.
- Valid Minnesota driver's license, learners permit, MN ID card or receipt for any of these
Don't have the above, click here for other acceptable forms of identification to show proof of residence
You will need to update your registration if:
- you moved
- changed your name
- have not voted in the last four years.
Update your registration by completing a new registration application
