October 8th at 6 PM we are looking forward to hosting you and your family for a fun and amazing event with food, fun and challenges for
everyone of all ages.
We will have Food Trucks from Whiskey Creek BBQ, Inferno Wood Fired Pizza and Sabrosos Tacos Street. Plus, we’ll have cotton candy on hand. I mean, who doesn’t love cotton candy?
Edge Mobile Sharpening will be on hand as well! Edge sharpens your blades while you enjoy the Open House. Bring your knives, scissors, and shears to be sharpened. Please check out their website for full details and pricing. edgemobilesharpening.com
We’ll have “Turn Out” gear for all to try on. Take the opportunity to try what a Firefighter dons prior
to going out on a call. We’ll also have an air pack with mask to fully immerse yourself into the firefighting experience. You’ll be able to see and try out some of the tools we use. Plus, more fire trucks to climb into than you can shake a stick at. We’ll also have a hose to finish out the experience.
Weather permitting, we’re
also excited and so proud to host two unique and incredible Fire Apparatus. I’m keeping one a surprise for our Retirees, as I think they’ll be so excited to see this one. The other one is an incredible piece of history. A 1975 Seagrave Ladder Truck that served Fairview, New Jersey. This truck was called upon and proudly served at the World Trade Center Disaster
on 09-11-01. She’s a true legend and incredible piece of history.
Like I said, we have so much to offer, but it won’t be any fun UNLESS YOU’RE THERE! We’re so excited to see you there.
