Water Quality

Municipal Water

A city-owned and city-operated water system makes up a major portion of the St. Paul Park Utility Division.  The water supply comes from wells with a total pumping capacity of about 2,350 gallons per minute or 3 million gallons per day.  To handle peak water loads; St. Paul  Park also has two water towers.  St. Paul Park water is chlorinated and fluoridated to meet Department of Health standards.  The Utility Division staff reads water meters and bills quarterly based on usage.

Private Wells

Some St Paul Park properties obtain their water through private wells and are not served by the municipal water systems.
