Snow Adventures

Cross Country Skiing
Surround yourself in nature by taking a stroll through Riverside Park.

Hockey
Each winter neighborhoods get together at the outdoor hockey rink to play a game of hockey.  Just show up and join the fun.  Need skates?  Not a problem.  Limited number of skates and hockey sticks are available for FREE use inside the Whitbred Warming House. 

Ice Skating
St. Paul Park has two ice rinks located at Whitbred Park, 1301 Selby Avenue.  Skate for fun or compete in a game of hockey. FREE skate rentals inside the warming house. (sizes are limited). 

Sledding
Grab a sled or tube and head to the local sledding hill located near the Fire Department. Also mark your calendar--you won't want to miss the annual Glow-in-the-dark sledding event held on December 28. 

Snowmobiling
There are many trails for snowmobiles in Washington County.  Snowmobilers should visit the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources website to get detailed maps of available snowmobile routes. Click here for the snowmobile rules for St. Paul Park on how to get to and from these trails. 

Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing reveals a whole new experience in our parks or tails during the winter.  This activity allows you to experience winter in all its wonder.  Check out the nature trails through Riverside Park.
